Summary
HelpMum is dedicated to decreasing maternal and infant mortality in Nigeria by addressing the essential needs of underserved communities. The organization provides affordable birth kits to ensure safe deliveries and collaborates with traditional birth attendants in remote areas, where a significant majority of births take place at home. Additionally, HelpMum delivers digital education through an E-learning Platform that offers tutorials in local languages to enhance safe delivery practices. They also leverage mobile technology, such as the HelpMum Vaccination Tracker, to improve immunization awareness and uptake. Currently, HelpMum is advancing its tracking system with AI innovations in partnership with Google and Vanderbilt University, focusing on key health areas, including vaccination/immunization and maternal and child health.
