Summary
The digital health blueprint project aims to create an architecture and implementation plan, along with an investment rationale, to facilitate the digital transformation of Burkina Faso's health system. This initiative will establish a health information exchange platform, supported by a framework of norms and interoperability. The focus areas for developing an interoperable digital health system include maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), health promotion, sexual and reproductive health, and communicable diseases. The target populations for this project are the general population, newborns, children under five, and pregnant women.
