openIMIS is an open-source software designed for managing health financing and social protection programs, capable of handling complex data flows by integrating beneficiary, provider, and payer information in one platform. It currently benefits over 7 Million population (34 million individuals across 14 countries) through various programs, including health insurance and cash transfers. As a recognized digital public good, openIMIS was co-created by a dedicated community and is both modular and customizable, facilitating seamless information exchange. It also supports local businesses with a sustainable business model. In, Nepal openIMIS is implemented in Health Insurance program of Health Insurance Board (HIB) and Social Security Fund (SSF) which are the government agency.
