Summary
The Community Health Services Section (CHSS) has successfully coordinated various community programs, notably implementing the MVTK system to digitize protocols for integrated Community Case Management (iCCM), Family Planning (FP), maternal health, nutrition, and tuberculosis (TB) care for children. This innovative system offered decision support, referral capabilities, and enabled monthly reporting on service statistics and medicine inventory for village clinics. It was deployed across eight districts and had reached 1004 users. However, in 2020, financial and technical support for the MVTK system was halted as the Ministry of Health/CHSS shifted attention to the integrated Community Health Information System (iCHIS) initiative. Health focus areas of the programs include various health aspects, with a specific mention of injuries.
