Medtronic LABS is collaborating with the Christian Health Association of Sierra Leone, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Ministry of Health and Sanitation to develop an integrated community and primary care model in Sierra Leone. This initiative aligns with the national digital health strategy and emphasizes sustainability. The SPICE-enabled primary health care model is designed for district-level operation, with potential for national adoption. Key health focus areas include chronic conditions and disabilities, maternal and child health, communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, vaccination and immunization, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), mental health, and health promotion.
