"Bangladesh’s eVLMIS faces several challenges, including poor internet connectivity in rural areas that hampers real-time data updates, unreliable cold chain infrastructure due to frequent power cuts, and inconsistent data quality caused by delayed or inaccurate reporting from field staff. Limited digital skills among health workers also reduce the system’s effectiveness, while incomplete integration with platforms like DHIS2 and other logistics systems restricts seamless operations. In addition, sustaining the system requires continuous technical support, funding, and regular updates, alongside overcoming resistance to shifting from paper-based to digital practices. "

"To address these issues, Bangladesh should strengthen infrastructure by improving internet coverage and backup power systems, expand training and capacity-building programs for users, and introduce automated validation and feedback mechanisms to enhance data accuracy. Furthermore, ensuring full integration with health information systems, securing long-term funding, and promoting change management through awareness and incentives will help maximize the efficiency and sustainability of eVLMIS in strengthening vaccine logistics and cold chain management. "
