Summary
This project collaborates with the Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) to support the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) HIV Secretariat in addressing HIV/AIDS challenges. It aims to meet the UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets by strengthening the SSPDF's ability to enhance care and treatment while reducing new infections among SSPDF personnel, their families, and civilian communities linked to SSPDF health facilities. Key responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating data, developing electronic patient databases, ensuring quality assurance, enhancing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) capacity, presenting achievements at global conferences, coordinating with various stakeholders, and providing technical assistance to expand services in Juba and surrounding areas, particularly focusing on communicable diseases.
