Community health workers (CHWs) work alongside local primary care facilities to perform household screenings for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). At the primary care level, nurses and doctors use the SPICE system to update patient records and schedule follow-up appointments. The program is designed to improve the timely identification of NCD patients, facilitate appropriate treatment, and enhance management rates of these diseases within the community.
