The Electronic Public Health Information System, powered by DHIS2, was launched in 2014 and achieved nationwide implementation by 2017. In the same year, the Electronic Hospital Reporting System was initiated and is currently in the roll-out phase, having reached about 90% of hospitals, with full national coverage anticipated by late 2020. The health focus areas include non-communicable diseases (NCDs), injuries, sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, communicable diseases, vaccination/immunization, and health promotion.
