Summary
NetSIGL 2.0 is an electronic logistics management system (eLMIS) based on the OpenLMIS platform, designed to track the management of healthcare product stocks, from primary care facilities to the central level. It offers order management, distribution and alerts for critical stock levels, as well as reporting modules to facilitate logistical decision-making. The system operates both online and offline, and is capable of interfacing with other systems via standard or proprietary APIs. Deployed nationwide, NetSIGL 2.0 covers the Centers de Santé et de Promotion Sociale (CSPS) and uses various data exchange formats, such as HL7 FHIR and proprietary APIs. The application aims to improve national logistics management of healthcare products by guaranteeing continuous, automated and interoperable stock tracking by 2026, targeting various populations including children, adults, pregnant women and the elderly. Technical support and maintenance are provided by DCAPS in collaboration with the ISD, although exact costs have yet to be estimated depending on the number of users and services required.
