Summary
OpenHexa is an open source platform developed by the DSI in Burkina Faso, with support from Bluesquare. Its aim is to integrate, interoperate and automate the data flows of health information systems, facilitating the exchange of information between several national platforms such as REDOP, MFL, the surveillance system and others. The platform supports various data formats (CSV, FHIR API, etc.) and includes advanced analysis tools to automate these exchanges. As a key component of the interoperability of Burkina Faso's digital healthcare system, OpenHexa aims to harmonize and automate data exchange between different healthcare structures by 2026, targeting mainly healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities.
