The project in Elgeyo Marakwet County aims to improve health access for underserved women and children through education, community training, and resource support for the Ministry of Health and its staff. It plans to enhance antenatal care (ANC) and immunization coverage, increase service delivery points for basic emergency obstetric and newborn care (BeMONC), and improve family planning (FP) services using mobile and other tools. The key objectives include raising FP uptake and strengthening health service delivery related to ANC, immunization, deliveries, postnatal care (PNC), and service reporting, focusing on sexual and reproductive health, vaccination/immunization, and maternal and child health.
