The Ministry of Health (MoH) is launching the District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2) to enhance health data management. This initiative aims to improve the collection, analysis, and dissemination of health information within the health sector. By implementing DHIS2, the MoH intends to streamline reporting processes, strengthen decision-making, and promote data-driven health policies, all of which are expected to enhance health service delivery and monitoring, leading to better community health outcomes. To ensure effective use among healthcare professionals, training and capacity-building initiatives will accompany the software rollout.
