The Safe Delivery App (SDA) was launched in Ghana in December 2017 through a collaboration involving the Danish Embassy, UNFPA Ghana, Ghana Health Service, and the Ministry of Health. The app was specifically adapted to align with Ghanaian standards and protocols. It provides ongoing training for skilled birth attendants to effectively manage both normal and complicated births. The SDA has been incorporated into training programs organized by various entities, including UNFPA, Ghana Health Service, CHAG, NORSAAC, and the Ministry of Health’s virtual training sessions, with a focus on maternal and child health.
