Millennium Promise Alliance Inc. initiated its operations in Malawi in 2006, aiming to address the eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The organization implemented the United Nations’ Millennium Villages Project (MVP) in the Mwandama Millennium Village in Zomba. Its health initiatives focus on communicable diseases, other chronic conditions and disabilities, sexual and reproductive health, environmental health, and maternal and child health.
