Project VISHWAS (Breath of Hope) is a collaborative initiative led by ZMQ, Save the Children India, Philips India, and Philips Foundation, aimed at delivering high-quality pneumonia care to approximately 90,000 children under five in Rajasthan and Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The project prioritizes improved access to pneumonia management, encourages childhood immunization, and enhances community awareness regarding prevention and care. Essential components of the initiative include an mHealth tool designed for behavior change, pneumonia case management tools, and a diagnostic tool known as “ChARM.” Additionally, pneumonia management skill labs have been set up in Tonk and Bahraich, and the project actively supports the SAANS campaign by the Ministry of Health through various community mobilization and awareness activities, all while focusing on communicable diseases.
