The MCH tracker, established by the Ghana Health Service, is a system designed to monitor the health of pregnant women and children throughout and following pregnancy. It operates by assigning unique IDs to mothers, tracking their antenatal care (ANC) attendance, and alerting health professionals to any potential dangers. The system also sends appointment reminders to Community Health Volunteers and mothers. Additionally, it records births, tracks immunizations, and monitors growth, providing valuable data to both district and national health databases. Each year, the MCH eTracker is updated during the registry review, integrating changes and essential information from client record books to improve health service delivery.
