VGS2000 is an inventory management and sales tracking platform, mainly used in private pharmacies in Burkina Faso. It offers real-time research into the availability of pharmaceutical products, precise tracking of sales, and optimized management of drug supplies. This solution improves access to product information, facilitating decision-making for customers and healthcare professionals. VGS2000 is a local application, with no integration with national public health platforms, and no formal interoperability standards. Although this system is proprietary and not open source, it is used in several private pharmacies with the aim of optimizing the management of drug stocks and sales, targeting mainly healthcare professionals and medical structures.
