Summary
NaijaCare is a digital platform designed to support medicine vendors (PPMVs) in Nigeria by providing essential tools such as e-learning, peer support, referral management, and online ordering. These resources aim to improve service delivery and foster business growth for PPMVs, ultimately benefiting both vendors and their customers. Launched in May 2018 by Every1Mobile with backing from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Unilever, NaijaCare's pilot program has demonstrated the effectiveness of e-learning in enhancing skills related to record keeping, malaria diagnostics, and rights-based family planning services. The initiative focuses on various health areas, including Sexual and Reproductive Health, Communicable Diseases, Maternal and Child Health, and Health Promotion.
