BENINeSIGL (Electronic Logistics Management Information System) is the sole, official, and centralized system for managing health product inventories in Benin. It was established to address the need for tracking, transparency, and performance in the health supplies supply chain. Used by both the Health Zone Distribution Depots (DRZS) and health facilities, eSIGL enables integrated logistics management of over 1,000 health products across all national health programs, including Essential Medicines, Malaria, Family Planning, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Vaccines, and other strategic supplies. BENINeSIGL facilitates daily transaction tracking, inventory management, product traceability, as well as the automatic generation of reports and logistics indicators, including the A7 report, which is interoperable with the DHIS2 platform.
