KenyaEMR is a tailored version of OpenMRS created by I-TECH in 2012 and backed by The Palladium since 2016 as part of the KeHMIS II Project. It plays a vital role in tracking UNAIDS goals by offering services for HIV testing, treatment, and maternal and child health registrations and enrollments. The system enhances HIV prevention and treatment, manages clinical workflows, and delivers strategic insights through reports, registers, and dashboards. KenyaEMR also ensures interoperability with various systems, including pharmacy, appointment scheduling, lab management, automated reporting, and key populations management, thereby improving comprehensive healthcare delivery. Its health focus areas include immunization, communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, and maternal and child health.
