Fraym is dedicated to providing COVID-19 related data to aid governments and organizations in their pandemic response. Within two weeks, they generated over 200 data layers for ten countries, reaching more than 40 entities, including health ministries in Africa and USAID. The countries involved are Ghana, Guatemala, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, and South Africa. In partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Fraym established five vulnerability categories: exposure risk, comorbidity burden, health facility access, communications gaps, and socioeconomic vulnerabilities. These categories are being implemented in Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Pakistan, with a focus on communicable diseases.
