In response to the pressures faced by France's health system, AI experts have created ALLOCOVID, a free vocal bot available through a toll-free number. This bot assesses COVID-19 symptoms and medical history via a brief questionnaire. Within three minutes, it provides recommendations for patients, which may include contacting paramedics, consulting a doctor, remaining at home, or determining them as unlikely COVID-19 cases. The data collected is anonymized and forwarded to INSERM researchers for analysis by ZIP code, allowing for real-time tracking of the epidemic's progression and identification of new clusters while ensuring patient privacy. The initiative focuses on communicable diseases.
