Auto Visual AFP Detection and Reporting (AVADAR) is a mobile SMS technology aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) reporting. It broadens the network of disease reporters, offers near-real-time access to data, and automatically notifies disease surveillance officers (DSOs). Furthermore, AVADAR consolidates and visualizes case alerts and investigations on a dashboard, enhancing the overall reporting process.
