DEBO, which means "working together for specific objectives" in the Amharic language, is an Android mobile application designed to trace COVID-19 contacts in rural Ethiopia. Developed by Ewenet Communication Private Limited Company, the app was created as a volunteer initiative to support the Ethiopian Health Minister and the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) in their efforts to combat the pandemic.
