The NDWH is an analytics platform that serves as a repository for de-identified data focused on monitoring health systems and clinical outcomes for individuals infected or exposed to HIV. It gathers data primarily from electronic medical records (EMRs) in healthcare facilities and allows for the visualization of progress towards the UNAIDS 90:90:90 goals, case-based surveillance, and health metric tracking. The platform also supports ad hoc data analysis for verified users. As of now, it includes data on over 2.2 million HIV-positive individuals and more than 1.1 million testing records from 8 EMRs across approximately 1,200 active facilities. Its primary health focus areas encompass communicable diseases and maternal and child health.
