Summary
The OCF application improves the identification of HIV positive individuals through a social network strategy (SNS). Participants who are HIV positive receive 3 to 8 QR code coupons to share with their risk partners, thereby creating referral chains. The distribution of these coupons ceases when two negative participants interact. The application collects anonymous data on clients, including unique codes, test results, socio-demographic information, risk behaviors, and incentives, all while maintaining confidentiality. A web-based platform is employed for efficient data management, allowing swift access to datasets and reports. Developed by ICF Alliance for Public Health, the OCF application is backed by PEPFAR, CDC, and the Global Fund, with a health focus on communicable diseases.
