Summary
Ada's Global Health Initiative (GHI) is a series of projects aimed at improving primary healthcare in underserved populations worldwide, in partnership with organizations like Botnar Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. A key project within Ada's GHI focuses on Swahili-speaking regions, where Ada Health has launched a Swahili version of its AI-powered symptom-checking app. This app, developed by the Berlin-based healthtech company, empowers patients, particularly young people and families, to access reliable health information and make informed healthcare decisions. In collaboration with Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Tanzania, Ada Health is enhancing access to quality healthcare for over 100 million Swahili speakers in East Africa.
