The ACCESS m-health project in Madagascar aims to improve service quality and enhance data collection through a mobile application utilizing the CommCare platform. It offers two versions: one for community health volunteers (CHVs) addressing areas like family planning, maternal and child health, and reporting; and another for health center staff focused on supervising and monitoring CHVs. As of September 2022, approximately 4,000 CHVs and 357 health facility leaders have been trained, with a target of training 5,000 users by September 2023. The project encompasses various health focus areas, including Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, injuries, health promotion, chronic conditions, disabilities, vaccination/immunization, and communicable diseases.
