The mobile laboratory (mLab) is an Android™ application designed for caregivers to receive secure and confidential real-time laboratory results via SMS from the Central Reference Laboratory (CRL). Its main aim is to reduce the turnaround time (TAT) for delivering results to healthcare facilities. By quickly identifying the viral status of people living with HIV (PLHIV), mLab aligns with the third 95 objective of the UNAIDS program, promoting efficient and timely healthcare delivery. The app focuses on health areas such as maternal and child health and communicable diseases.
