Summary
Zenysis software offers a solution for unifying fragmented data systems through an interoperability layer that leverages data science, facilitating integration without altering existing systems. In 2018, the Liberia National Public Health Institute (NPHIL) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) partnered with Zenysis to improve infectious disease surveillance and promote data-driven decision-making. The collaboration successfully amalgamated over five distinct data sources, including laboratory and disease surveillance information, for the first time. This integration allowed the MOH and NPHIL to produce analyses that informed health policy, resource distribution, and intervention development, ultimately enhancing health systems and improving public health outcomes in Liberia.
