Summary
EFLUX FINANCE is a digital application designed to improve the financial management of healthcare centers in Burkina Faso, such as CSPSs, CMAs and CMs. It enables efficient monitoring of cash flows, as well as the management of receivables and payables, and the recording of payments. This solution aims to promote transparency and traceability of financial operations through a decentralized system. Developed locally, it is based on a web architecture using Laravel and a PostgreSQL database, and is also hosted in a national datacenter. EFLUX FINANCE enables data to be integrated into the EDM data warehouse via an automated export interface. It is an essential tool for the reform of healthcare financing, in particular for the implementation of free healthcare. The point-of-service (POS) solution is deployed nationwide and used in entry-level health facilities, with an estimated 1,000 to 5,000 users. It includes a proprietary API, automatic export to EDM, and technical and financial support is provided by CHAI, while system management is handled by ST/RFS and technical hosting by DSI. The aim is to enhance financial transparency in health centers by digitizing the management of flows and payments, with data integration into the EDM system planned by 2026. Target populations include urban and rural dwellers, children under 5, pregnant women and newborns.
