Vitas is responsible for managing commodity distribution in Ethiopia's healthcare system, having commenced development in 2011 with an emphasis on inventory control at specific EPSS hubs. Over time, its capabilities have expanded to include all aspects of supply chain operations and has been implemented across all EPSS locations, including the Central site and 19 hubs.
