Summary
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a rise in sedentary lifestyles among individuals, highlighting the critical role of primary health care (PHC) in promoting physical activity (PA). However, PHC faces challenges such as inadequate clinical guidelines and a lack of protocols for high-risk individuals. To address these issues, several objectives have been set: 1) to create web-based interventions targeting health promotion and risk reduction for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), particularly emphasizing mental health; 2) to develop digital educational tools for counseling on health-enhancing PA; 3) to design software that objectively measures physical activity levels (PALs), VO2max, and individual morphology; and 4) to establish an innovative digital platform for data collection and personalized PA planning, focusing on communicable diseases, NCDs, health promotion, and mental health.
