Summary
This implementation research study in Eastern Province, Zambia, examines the WHO Antenatal Care (ANC) digital module created with OpenSRP. It comprises two phases: a formative phase to tailor the digital tool to local ANC practices and a demonstration phase to test the adjustments. During the formative phase, system requirements will be gathered for local adaptation using the ANC Digital Accelerator kit. The demonstration phase will focus on the systematic introduction and evaluation of the adapted WHO ANC package and the Zambian digital ANC module in selected healthcare facilities. The overall aim is to enhance positive pregnancy experiences, with a particular focus on maternal and child health.
