The Data Exchange and Integration Project (DXP) is a proof-of-concept platform that aims to integrate global database data into national Health Management Information Systems (HMIS). The project focuses on restructuring and triangulating routine program data to improve data analysis and quality. DXP also investigates bidirectional data exchange for automated national reporting, which enhances global monitoring and representation in global databases. Initially, the project targets a limited set of indicators using health data in SDMX/ADX standards, with aspirations for large-scale application across various countries, sectors, and standards. Key health focus areas include maternal and child health, vaccination/immunization, and communicable diseases.
