It aims to standardize data collection, monitor specimen and test workflows, and improve report generation, thereby providing a comprehensive overview of laboratory services that assists in staff management and budget planning. With ongoing evolution based on user feedback, BLIS is preparing for the release of version 3.0. The project addresses several health focus areas, including Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, Injuries, Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), Communicable Diseases, and Cancer.
