Summary
MHealth RAPIDPRO is an interactive communication platform designed for the E-Santé.Com project, aimed at automating the sending of health messages, care reminders and alerts, primarily to pregnant women and mothers of children. Using RapidPro, it enables the creation of automatic communication flows via SMS and other mobile channels, improving appointment compliance, prenatal and postnatal consultation follow-up, and community awareness. This solution promotes two-way communication between the healthcare system and beneficiaries, while providing decision-makers with visibility on the effectiveness of awareness campaigns. In production since January 2016 and reinforced in 2022, MHealth RAPIDPRO is an open source platform that aspires to improve maternal and child healthcare compliance by sending automated health messages to beneficiaries via mobile by 2026. Health areas covered include mental health, sexual and reproductive health, primary healthcare, as well as other chronic diseases and pathologies. Target populations include the general population, particularly in rural areas.
