The GSMA, in partnership with CABI and local experts, has created open-source mobile content focused on nutrition and maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) for Tanzania, offered in both Kiswahili and English. This content, which has been validated by the Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre (TNFC), incorporates recommended MNCH practices and local nutrition insights. It comprises topic-specific factsheets, SMS messages, and voice message transcripts, with a health emphasis on maternal and child health as well as health promotion.
