Summary
The MRDQA is an Android application aimed at improving the quality of malaria reporting data collected from health facilities. It employs standardized metrics to evaluate data completeness, timeliness, accuracy, and consistency. Designed for routine use by district health teams and malaria program managers, the app features a "DHIS 2 Configuration Package" for the seamless upload of supervisory findings to the national DHIS 2 system, facilitating aggregated data analysis by sub-national units over time. This approach supports centralized monitoring of data quality. As an open-source tool, the MRDQA is also adaptable for other health programs and is based on the MEASURE Malaria Routine Data Quality Assessment Tool, aligning with initiatives from WHO and CDC, with a focus on communicable diseases.
