The system began as the backend for a mobile blood donation app in 2015, developed through the G2C Office. With assistance from the WHO, it progressed to include donor inventory management. A recent upgrade introduced a hemovigilance module, which improved its capabilities. The system's health focus areas include various aspects related to blood donation and management.
