The hypertension tracking system is designed to improve health outcomes among the healthcare workforce and enhance care for hypertensive disorders through education and health promotion. It aims to increase access to services for hypertensive conditions, particularly for pregnant and postpartum women, as well as other populations. Additionally, the system evaluates the cost-effectiveness and health impact of a workforce-oriented approach to managing hypertension. Key components include screening initiatives for healthcare workers (HCWs) and pregnant women at HCW fairs and during Antenatal Care (ANC) and Postnatal Care (PNC) visits across 21 facilities. Future enhancements will incorporate tracking for Rheumatic Heart Disease, with a broader focus on non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
