Summary
REACH4Health is a co-designed application by the CSD at Columbia University aimed at improving health literacy and access for youth in regions impacted by forced migration. It is available in Turkish, Arabic, and English, providing trustworthy information on health topics such as physical, mental, and environmental health, healthcare systems, and COVID-19. The app includes geolocation features to help users find nearby health services and hotlines, as well as other mHealth applications. Users can give feedback and connect with health mediators for tailored support, all within a secure platform that safeguards privacy. While primarily designed for youth, REACH4Health also serves service providers and the wider community by promoting healthier lifestyles and raising awareness of health services. Key focus areas of the app include sexual and reproductive health, environmental health, communicable and non-communicable diseases (NCDs), mental health, and health promotion.
