The Master List of Health Facilities (MFL) is an essential national platform that lists all the country's health facilities according to the pyramid structure of the healthcare system. It provides crucial data on each facility, including its geolocation, type (CSPS, CMA, CHR, etc.), status (public, private, denominational), environment (urban or rural), as well as the number of healthcare staff present. The MFL is a strategic tool for planning, coordinating, monitoring and governing the healthcare system, promoting interoperability with other systems thanks to its API interfaces. It is administered by the Direction des Systèmes d'Information (DSI) and used by the Direction de la Statistique Sectorielle et de l'Evaluation (DSSE), with a technical partnership from Bluesquare. The aim is to strengthen health planning and governance by centralizing health facility data via an interoperable platform by 2026, reaching all populations, whether urban or rural.
