mTrac is an integrated component of the Ministry of Health's national electronic Health Management Information System (eHMIS), which uses DHIS2 and iHRIS technologies. The system allows health workers to submit weekly surveillance forms through SMS and provides alerts to users for notifiable events or data anomalies. It enhances communication by supporting surveys and polls initiated by government officials at national and district levels. Furthermore, mTrac enables healthcare consumers to report their experiences and service delivery problems, such as stock-outs and extortion.
