B-MNCH is an initiative aimed at improving maternal, newborn, and child health in Uganda's Buikwe district by 2021. It focuses on enhancing access to and utilization of MNCH services through behavior change communication, capacity building, and social accountability, targeting families and individuals aged 0-49. Community health workers use the CommCare platform for effective follow-ups and counseling with pregnant and lactating mothers, while health facilities leverage CommCare and DHIS2 systems for better data utilization. Supported by World Vision Hong Kong and other stakeholders, B-MNCH aims to inspire similar health improvements in other communities. Key focus areas include vaccination/immunization, maternal and child health, health promotion, and more.
