The EPID platform offers national-level digital epidemiological surveillance in the Kyrgyz Republic, enhancing the registration of infectious diseases and streamlining epidemiological investigations. By replacing traditional paper forms with structured electronic records, the system facilitates real-time data transmission between CSHES centers and other levels of health services. This modernization leads to quicker disease case notifications, improved data accuracy, and better-informed management decisions based on current epidemiological insights. The platform effectively reduces the time for emergency notifications to 24 hours or less and provides real-time reporting of epidemiological indicators to the Ministry of Health. Key focus areas include communicable diseases, emergencies, and vaccination/immunization, targeting health professionals and the general population.
