Rwanda is enhancing antenatal care (ANC) through innovative strategies by introducing a person-centered digital tracking and decision support system that adheres to the 2016 WHO recommendations. Utilizing the WHO digital ANC module on the OpenSRP platform, the Rwandan Ministry of Health will customize the system to align with national policies and local needs. The initial rollout will take place in the Nyagatare and Nyanza districts, with possibilities for broader implementation contingent on success. This initiative is directed at improving the quality of ANC services in the country, focusing on maternal and child health.
