DHIS2 is a system designed for the collection of aggregate reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as event-based data from all healthcare facilities, facilitating reporting to the Ministry of Health. It improves data analysis by eliminating data silos. The implementation of DHIS2 is extensive, with ongoing updates and modifications to data sets and indicators based on specific requests. Health focus areas covered by the system include non-communicable diseases (NCDs), maternal and child health, chronic conditions and disabilities, sexual and reproductive health, communicable diseases, vaccination/immunization, cancer, and oral health.
