Cameroon has established a data management system for its performance-based financing (PBF) program, which features offline mobile data collection to evaluate quality of care and client satisfaction. The system computes program indicators, calculates incentive bonuses, and manages the relationships between primary and subcontractor entities. It also streamlines the distribution of incentives, with the data being made publicly available through open data dashboards. The health focus areas covered by this program include Sexual and Reproductive Health, Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), Vaccination/Immunization, Communicable Diseases, Maternal and Child Health, among others.
